When I first received Glide and applied it to my wand I noticed it was smoother but the product broke 3 months after purchase!

Reduces suction slightly hence only 4 stars but I use this on a quartz stone carpeted floor and it's the only thing keeping the floor from stitch edges. The surface is very rough and porous, and the metal edge of the wand wears and cracks the surface of the stones. This part allows very easy sliding without damage.

I bought this because I have spots at the motel where I quickly switch from carpet to tile. I have powerful high pressure equipment but like everyone else I was concerned about losing too much suction power as a trade off but I didn't find much of a loss if any.
