If you use your tablet as a second monitor or as a standalone device on your desk, consider this stand. It has several advantages. First, it elevates your tablet to eye level, which I didn't think was a big deal until I started using it. Second, it frees up space on your desk, which often makes a big difference. The stand is easy to assemble and you can adjust the stand. Overall excellent value for money.

Like most tablet desktop mounts, this one is primarily designed for a thin desk edge, which was a bit uncomfortable . It is mentioned in the product description, so be aware. Luckily I was able to attach it to the side of a table and ended up being pretty stable. I've used it successfully with my iPad and Onyx Boox Note (stays in place all day with no kinks or movement after tightened with an Allen key). I just wish the arm extension was a little longer and the clamp a little wider.

This is what I was looking for. I had three other coasters with plastic hinges that broke after a few months. This one has metal hinges and if you move the stand around a few times a day it works great. You may have to tighten screws here and there. (bottom only) It fits my Surface Pro 5. Great clamp for the most part, but I haven't been able to verify that the clamp meets my needs. The clip doesn't close far enough for one of the surfaces on my desktop that I wanted to use it with, and the clip doesn't open far enough for another.
