Great pattern set. I've been using the DE razor for 2 years now and recently needed a new set of samples to try out the blades with my new handle. Haven't tried all the different brands but it's been fun comparing them as I go and try a new one each time! My current favorite are the Gillette Premium blades, they last longer than some others I've used.

Although I found blades that I happily ordered in bulk from a selection (Sunrise), most of them dulled halfway through the shave or weren't all in their best form first. It's great for the price, but I'd just find one you like and go from there.

I've just switched to a safety razor and this is a great starter kit. Nice selection of blades to get a good idea of what I like and don't like. Price and performance can't be beat
