I ordered 42 because I wear pants 40 Well it's a ratchet belt and the track doesn't start about 4 inches from the top of the belt. On a typical strap, the holes start about 1 inch or less from the tip. Basically a size 42 is a size 38. So you basically have to order a size 46 if you want a size 42!

Buy the strap separately but it's easily the cleanest setup of them all. The buckles look great and you can change them up every day depending on what you're wearing. Why didn't I switch to this many years ago? It's easy enough to pull the strap out and insert it into another buckle. You can cut off the end of the strap that goes into the buckle after measuring your desired length (leave 1 inch for Thanksgiving).

I thought I was slimmer. The belt didn't give me much extra, no need to cut. It's a little heavy, but I would buy it again. Much more comfortable than regular harnesses due to the way it works.

My first ratchet belt and I have to say I like it a lot more than the standard timing belt. It is very easy to resize, but I had to get office scissors, ordinary scissors could not cut the belt. But that's probably good, lol.
