This is for RV fridges with ammonia cycle

This is a much better alternative to crappy Camco and Valterra fans. This is a study, it has a switch and side and bottom air intakes. As expected, it ensures sufficient circulation so that even non-motorized RV refrigerators can cool evenly.

Broke quickly, returned.

I put fresh batteries in my new fridge fan and hooked it up to the back of the fridge. I could tell it worked without opening the fridge because it was noisy. After a few weeks, as I got used to the noise, it went quiet again. The fan is off. I checked the batteries and they were still fine, so I sent the fan back. Damn.

Works great.: HVAC

This is the first time we have used a fridge fan. This fan appears to be of higher quality than others on the market. This is the first fan with a switch, which is very convenient. Others require you to pull batteries. You can feel the fan which should be all you need for a fridge. I would remove the batteries when you are not using your RV as the "D" size batteries can leak.

  • New

  • Slightly dented

The jury has arrived. - Ventilation

Looks, feels and sounds perfect. One question: shouldn't you at least feel a slight breeze from the fan? Without this feature, how can it circulate air? I'll try it next week and see if it works. If so then I'll increase my rating to 4 or 5, if not I'll lower it to 1 and try to get it back. Sequel follows. Update: The fan does what it's supposed to, it circulates the air nicely and is very quiet. The quality and firmness when touched is significantly better than the "blue" other type. glad you…

  • Great for a small home

Seems to work for our needs

I have one of these in our motorhome and they work great. I actually bought this for my internal fridge. Due to Covid I shop at Costco instacart and have more groceries in my fridge than usual. I found my food was frozen. I remembered my little fan in the van so I got this. My only issue is that the shelves in the RV are made of coated metal rods rather than glass, so they allow for better airflow. So I hung this on the door and while it's not perfect, it seems to work! Worth the money spent to

The temperature has dropped!

I didn't like frozen vegetables, warm milk and nobody knows where to keep eggs so they don't freeze. After reading many reviews and asking an old friend what she uses, I bought this device. This is fantastic! The refrigerator now has an even, cool space to store food without fear of freezing. The device is so quiet that it can easily be mistaken for idling. It fits on the lowest shelf between the door and the crisper and ensures noiseless air circulation. It's just wonderful. After a few weeks,

More airflow than I expected

I bought this fan to temporarily replace my LG home fridge. The circulating fan in the fridge stopped working and the temperature of the fridge and freezer slowly cooled and fluctuated wildly with no air flow. Since it takes quite a long time to call a service technician to fix a problem these days, I bought this fan to see if it could help stabilize the fridge pending a repair. I made a cardboard cover to fit over the air filter outlet in the fridge section (see photo). This worked well enough

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
