I bought two pairs of these shorts in black. I'm 5'5" and 160 lbs. I bought a large one. I think I might blend in perfectly with the surroundings. I bought a black glove shirt to match. So I'm 34 weeks pregnant with a huge bump and need boat shorts. The only maternity shorts I own are comfortable boat shorts with no material. Even though it's not "pregnant" I took a chance and ordered them anyway, but I ordered a large instead of a medium size before pregnancy and they fit perfectly, they're very comfortable and perfect for the boat! If it wasn't for the price I would have ordered a second pair in a different color. I'm a discount lover and $34 for shorts isn't ideal for me.

They came so close to the perfect swim shorts. As a mother, I don't want to worry about flaunting myself by chasing after my little ones. The real shorts they wore were great, true to size and with just the right amount of stretch. What was completely untrue was the foldable waist belt. It has no power/substance. Too stretchy so it looks like it's too big for the butt. Too stretchy/slippery to stay in place when folded, it just unrolls. For reference, I'm 5ft 2in and usually wear a size 12/XL…
