I received this blanket as a Christmas present, tan. After reading the previous reviews I decided to wash it before use. Washed in cold water and dried at ultra-low temperature for 1 hour. It did not shrink and produced an average amount of villi. It's not as soft as fleece, for example, but it's absolutely pleasant to the touch, comfortable and cozy. A good product.

I've bought two of these duvets in the last 10 years and they've held up great but I needed a spare. The other two are simply wonderful and have aged well. The new one I bought is VERY different. Most notable is the size. Declared size 66x90 but after washing (not checked before washing) size 63x68. And there were catches in the weave and tons of pile. Send back. Very disappointed.

I got this blanket for my massage practice after reading a previous review. The same blanket sells for double the price at the local massage supply store so I thought it would be a great deal.
