It had enough slots and room for everything, but when fully loaded it seemed to burst. It wasn't made to fill all the spaces. Just wasn't wide enough or didn't give enough space to have something in all places. A notepad for writing a checkbook did not fit in the space provided. I had to fold the sides because there wasn't enough space.

I used this wallet for a long time until I had to enlarge it. For most, this wallet would be ideal. Fits easily in a checkbook. The card slots are narrow enough to hold cards in place, but pills pop out just as easily. An additional transparent windowed card sleeve is ideal for quickly viewing your most used cards. The wallet feels soft. It is not suitable for mobile phones. The lock is secure. The quality of the materials that make up this wallet is excellent. Red is beautiful and not garish.

This is the Buxton clutch that I have owned for many years. Eventually the zipper broke so I ordered the same one again and sent it back straight away. They no longer have an outside pocket that closes and all my cards that used to fit have fallen out. I reordered this wallet on 9/4/17. Arrived on 09/13/17. Today is March 9th, 2018. I've been using it for less than 6 months and it's already falling apart. Plastic credit card inserts ripped in the first 2 months. I don't recall them falling apart in the first few months on any of the Buxton purses I've bought in the last 40+ years. I really like the leather quality of this wallet. Buxton is known for its quality which is why I bought this wallet. The only problem I have with this wallet is that when you open it with the latch on the left, all the credit cards are upside down. To prevent credit cards from being turned upside down, the latch should be on the right side, on the side with the pretty logo. The side with the logo and the clasp is the front of the wallet for me.
