I bought this for my 8 year old but the average size/6-8 doesn't even fit my 4 year old. It was really small and not too stretchy. Seems to be of good quality but I have not washed or worn it.

Great for my almost 8 year old daughter who dances 5 days a week and is at an age where she just needs an extra layer on top. She wears these under tank tops and T-shirts during rehearsals and exercises. She said it's also comfortable and doesn't leave dents or anything. It fits exactly as expected.

I bought the small size for my daughter hoping she would run small. Her torso is 20 inches and the size chart says Small fits 22-23 inches. Well the little one is only SMALL in size around her torso (she can still wear it all the way) but I'm not sure how it would fit a small child. I appreciated the adjustable straps so it fits her body. Great product and glad it works a little.
