Columbia 550 Down: My 8 year old loves this coat! Bought in L, will have it at least this year and next! Very warm and she loves that it covers her ass!

The coat is nice and warm, but the material it's made of looks thin and tears easily. My daughter ruined it in just a month! Columbia offers a guarantee, but I'm not sure if they cover it.

I absolutely love this jacket and would highly recommend it. The quality is amazing as is the price Revain is offering it at. I am very happy with my purchase and will continue to buy Columbia products for the winter. It's lightweight but keeps you warm on cold winter days with snow and ice.

MN Winters are cold, but this jacket will keep you warm. I wish the hood was fleece lined and the cuffs had thumb holes like the old Space Heater down jacket her brother has, but that's the next best option. It's cute, with good flexibility for outdoor games or city trips. Blocks wind and insulates well in sub-zero temperatures.

The jacket looks great and is well made but unfortunately the size is a bit small and we have to send it back. The sizing grid on the website does not match the size of the jacket. We ordered the XS for our admittedly large 7 year old thinking it was a size 9-10. The jacket fits easily and becomes too tight with warm/bulky clothing underneath.

I was looking for a jacket that would be warm enough to be outside for a while (not for playing in the snow) but still fit securely in a car seat. Bulky jackets are not suitable for car seats. Who wants to put their jackets on and off every time they get out of the car? Not me! Now my 4 and 5 year olds can easily buckle their car seats again. Mom is happy because the children are safe.
