The lamp itself is easy to install, very bright. Bought because of the brilliant colors. which came out the same day as the installation on my motorcycle. Very disappointing.

As shown in the photo - the rubber bumpers have been removed so the bonnet is metal on metal with a fender. When you reinstall the factory rubber bumpers on the upper fender and lower hood, the latches will become so tight that they will not engage. Shame as they look great and the quality seems good but in my opinion they were designed to the wrong tolerance (except fenders) so they just don't work. I installed a 7 inch blue halo bulb on a myhonda 1981 cb750 with the stock headlight nacelle. I didn't have to make any modifications to the case or its components to fit it. The ring that holds the stock headlight also holds this. I also didn't need any of the 3 cables that come with this product. Installation was very clean and very easy. However, you must connect the halo portion of the bulb to power so that it is always on, otherwise the "halo" portion of the bulb will not light up…
