Beautiful and practical

Great looking robe, I am a Japanese History (and Anime) lover and have seen this style of dress in many movies and shows. Not only does it look authentic, like others it is described as cool for hotter/wetter climates. It comes with a sash that you tie under the waistband, which will suffice, but I recommend that you complete the look with a separate sash. If you search YouTube on how to tie a yukata, you will likely see both straps. If you are looking for a real Gaijin sized yukata look no…

Too small for a large waist

I have a waist size of 44 so this yukata looks more like a light robe. I can't close it like one would expect from a yukata. Too much exposed breasts and legs. Too bad - I was really hoping it would fit better. I think I'll have to go up a size and just hem it if it's too long.

Asian clothing always runs small: by American standards, this is not an XL for men.

I'll fix this by adding more fabric: I don't know why I always expect Asian clothing to be sized to fit. The fabric is nice and thin (but durable) for summer, the length is good but runs small. It's my own fault, the dimensions are in the photo on the site - I didn't pay attention. It's okay, I can restore it! :-)
