These are great fog lights. A super bright and popular modern update on my old Xterra. The reason for the 3 stars is that the mounts that come with it are rubbish. Useless for any car. The screws that came with it are also junk. Be prepared to install some serious custom applications.

Very poor mounting material. The bracket is paper thin and very thin. The "screws" holding it in place are tiny and can only be tightened with fingers (literally, because there's no room for a screwdriver). The halo wires are the thinnest wires I have ever seen.

I retrofitted them to my 99 4runner in place of the original overpriced mini fog lights. Remove the halo by mentally cutting it out of the lens mount and they will fit neatly into the stock fog light hole on the car. The only downside is that boost converters are of poor quality and will burn out. I've replaced two units in the last year but for the cost I can't really complain. This will be my LAST replacement as I upgrade these cases by coring them and fitting an H11 LED through the back.

The first thing I noticed upon opening the box (I ordered two sets of these lights) was signs of wear in the center of the lenses. They were in no way protected from the rubbing of the cardboard. The signs of wear also included small scratches (cardboard is wood). Next up were the brackets. At first I thought they were plastic. It turns out that they are made of very thin metal. Easy to bend. Very good fog lights for the price. So far they are great! The only problem I have is that they don't include fasteners. That's right, these fog lights do not come with bolts, washers or nuts. This wasn't a problem for me as I bought the necessary equipment at a local hardware store. I would still recommend them to anyone. I connected it as DRL (Daytime Running Lights).
