Not only the colors differ from the pictures, but also the pattern. I wanted to buy this because of the beautiful gray and white lace shells on the front. However, my lace pattern is on the BACK of the cover, which has elasticated corners for a snug fit. I tried turning it to get the pattern right but the elastic corners on the front bunch up and won't lay flat. I therefore assume that this was an error in the packaging of the product. This set is actually quite good for the price. It has padding that is reasonable for the price. The colors are correct, everything corresponds to the declaration. I have a couch in the attic and wanted something that looked better than tucked into a blanket. So I gave it a try purely because of the price. I ordered this comforter/spread and placed it on the couch in one of my guest rooms. This is the first bedspread I've ordered specifically for the couch, whereas before I'd just folded a blanket or bedspread to put on the bed. It fits a lot better. A side that goes to the back of the couch goes far enough to get under the edge of the mattress (no edge).
