I bought it for my husband who has neck problems. It comfortably gives his neck some support, and he says it's soft and doesn't put any pressure on his shoulders. Also, his cute bald head gets cold while watching TV at night. The hood is warm enough that he can pull it nicely over his eyes when he wants to take a nap.
