Good protection for motorcycles and weightlifters

Not many options for the Gen 1 but they should work well. Installed on my 2005 FJR1300. It didn't seem to fit at first, but I was able to attach it by turning the screws in at an angle and then tightening them. The poles simply clean the open basket.

Excellent roll bars, easy to fit, well finished and packaged

I am very happy with these roll bars which I bought for my 2005 FRJ1300. My brother also bought a set. They arrived early in the delivery window which was a nice surprise. They were packaged very well, each rod was completely wrapped in a spacer. The instructions were simple but had enough pictures and was easy to follow. The poles were well made and fit perfectly. The black powder coat looks very nice and the bars extend past the rear saddlebags which are not on the bike in my photos. We also…

Good quality but uncomfortable fit

Saddlebag crash bars arrived in 3 weeks from Russia. PROBLEM: The left and right mounting holes were 1/4-1/2" and it was impossible to install them without bending them to fit! , and snapping the fillet weld. A simple 20-30 minute job, took about 1-1/2 hours as I was careful not to split the welds to the actual bikes they are intended for.Never had a problem with SW-Motech, Puig, Givi and Canyon Cages.since I became certified in 1971 became an MC mechanic.

Cons
  • Low repairability

I've thought about it for a long time. Worked out very well. Installed the right side first. Of course he didn't get up. One screw worked, the other didn't. It doesn't matter which came first. I had to spread the bar a bit and then pull as I inserted the second screw. The left side came with no problems. So I'm not sure if this is a quality control issue by the manufacturer. I have read many other posts on the forums, some do not agree and some are perfect. I don't think I'm that lucky…
