Great bags, mislabelling - size matters!

This is fantastic if you are buying meat in bulk! However, I was a bit disappointed when I found out it was 8" x 10"; not 8x11 on the picture you can see. Revain was annoyed at the other box's mistake, but it was also smaller. With 2 pounds of ground beef or large steaks, an extra inch is important.

Pros
  • is ill thought out even for the old

Beat the consumer when he fell

I bought bags in January 2019, again in June 2019 and again in December 2019, wanted to buy again today, July 5, and the cost per carton has fallen . from 15.99 to 39.99 for 1 quart. This is consumer fraud, and it's all because of the COVID-19 pandemic. I will write a review to the FDA and report this scandal.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Communication with seller

lies about size. They are only 8 x 10.

Your description and product picture say 8 x 11 bags The bags I received match the 8 x 10 condition on the packaging. I despise being lied to! I only ordered them because of the size which it turns out you TRIGGED. I bought these to freeze cuts of meat that require 11" in length so they're basically useless to me. I will never buy from you again.

Pros
  • Nice design
Cons
  • I don't like it, everything is fine

My Favorite Brand Good for storage and organization

I regularly use FoodSaver bags and rolls to store food in the freezer. These bags work great keeping food fresh and not frozen. Pre-cut packets are handy and I recently used them in my sous vide. I feel comfortable with the FoodSaver brand because I've been using them for so long and trust them when they say they're BPA-free, which is important to me especially when it comes to reheating pouches. I usually reuse my packs after use, but when I use sous vide I can't get the smell out of the packs

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • Damaged

Large size to save time and money!

No matter how many deer I've killed each year, the buns took too long. The quart size packets give me a near perfect size for any cut. I keep a few rolls with me in case I run out of those jobs or have a bigger deer with bigger shoulders or neck (don't usually worry about CWD issues). Also the perfect size for separating barbecue leftovers. If I smoke 2 butts of pulled pork or a whole brisket, I'm left with a ton of meat. It's the perfect size for 1 pound portions that go straight from the…

Large liter packs on container sets

I used to buy them in big stores until they stopped ordering them. I won't be buying them there again, not only did Revain stock them, they were cheaper AND they came in bigger packaging. They are great for wrapping my husband's steaks, fish fillets and pork chops that he cooks after work. Outside. The bags are strong, seal well and saved us money by preventing freezer burn. I also use them for things like sliced, diced, or striped peppers from the garden and some small cooking utensils. I like

Not identical to the sachets ordered in 2018

These sachets are found in the FoodSaver box and are sold by FoodSaver but they are not identical. They are thinner than previous bags. This morning I had to seal and freeze four bags. I labeled four bags, filled them with cooked ground turkey and tried to seal them. They are all sealed but the air is not pumped out. I went through a total of 10 bags to find 4 that would soak up the contents. I had two other frozen items that needed vacuuming. After failing with one of these packs, I switched…

Cozy! fits in container sets

We have Sam's Club membership and will be buying, portioning and freezing meat for 3-4 months at a time. I save the buns for larger cuts like ribs, loin, and roast, but mostly use bags for convenience as I don't have to cut for each cut of meat and then seal both ends. I prefer Foodsaver pouches to rolls because I don't seal both ends like I do with rolls, this means less overheating of the closure element on the Foodsaver. One of the biggest issues I had with the Foodsaver is that it tends to…

No matter how many deer I shot each year, the buns became too labor intensive. The quart size packets give me a near perfect size for any cut.
