Love this workbench and my 2 year old grandson loves .

Love this workbench and my 2 year old grandson loves it as well. My only complaint is that while the assembly of the workbench was pretty basic, four holes needed for the screws in order to connect the top portion to the base were not made. Luckily my husband was able to make the holes with a drill but not everyone is experienced with using a drill. These holes most definitely should have been made already.

Pros
  • Our 3 year old grandson loves it. He wants to be like PawPaw and build!
Cons
  • Was a lot smaller than I thought it was, but for a 3 year old I guess it's ok.

Most of the holes needed for the screws were not pre-drilled.

The workbench needed to be put together, which is fine except for most of the holes were not pre-drilled. Luckily I decided to put this together before giving to my nephew as a gift. I was able to drill holes where needed but if you don't own a drill or aren't handy enough to do that, beware.

Pros
  • Quick delivery, product as represented
Cons
  • Some parts may be too small and pose a choking hazard

missing parts on my review.

This was missing the vices it was supposed to come with as part of the tools did not return item because it was a Christmas gift

Pros
  • Two year old grandson loved this!
Cons
  • Some children may outgrow the set quickly

Okay, the drill broke

Okay product good price. My son was disappointed that the drill was dead on arrival. The motor spins but doesn’t engage the drive. Other than that the other stuff is good

Pros
  • A great play work bench, durable, easy to assemble, great price and expected product!
Cons
  • The workbench may not be stable enough for heavy use

OK but lacking. in my review

It's OK, but.The toy bolts don't screw into the unthreaded backboard or benchtop holes = many useless holes. The tool hooks don't hold the tools well; one bump and they fall off( I heated and bent them to hold better. Some of the holes for assembly screws weren't drilled; I drilled them.

Pros
  • Perfect
Cons
  • The set may be too heavy to move around easily

Assembly stinks good for me

Good little starter workbench. However, the screw holes for assembly were not pre-drilled. I had to screw into plastic and essentially make my own screw holes. Under the gray worktable was difficult to do this because of the angle. There are some other workbenches that are better quality but this one will provide hours of entertainment.

Pros
  • Son loved it
Cons
  • The set may not have enough variety in projects

and I am so glad I went with this one

My 2.5 year old loves this! He uses the drill ALL the time. I was going between this one and one that didn't have a drill, and I am so glad I went with this one. Very simple and practical :). The only downside is that there are bite marks in the foam pieces from my 10 month old.lol.

Pros
  • My grandson loves it 2 years old
Cons
  • The workbench may take up too much space in smaller homes

Disappointed in my review

This was our Santa gift for our 3 year old. I was really disappointed in the size & quality. It got maybe 5 minutes of play time, now it is stuck in a corner.

Pros
  • It was a good Christmas gift
Cons
  • Some children may not be interested in building

Great product pieces missing.

Love this and our son loves it. Only complaint is pieces were missing. None that prevented it from being assembled but it’s suppose to come with foam wood pieces for play and ours were missing. I was able to order the foam wood from the Step to Website.

Pros
  • Great for kids and sturdy
Cons
  • The set may not be challenging enough for older children

the company gave me a 50% refund though so that was great; )

would have given five but i received a workbench that was missing an entire box of hardware (toy screws, tool hooks, and actual screws to put it together) plus it was missing the hardware bin for the bottom. the company gave me a 50% refund though so that was great ;)

Pros
  • It was fine just thought it would be bigger
Cons
  • Not what I expected.

Best little kids gift!

Bought for my grand son for his home cause I have the same one at my house that he loves to play with. This drill is the best the end doesn't fall out like most toy drills!

Pros
  • It’s a lot of parts 🤨 I’m still finding pieces all over my house. My son loves it.
Cons
  • It's missing pieces

Two-year-old Grandson loves this!

Bought this workbench for my two-year-old grandson for Christmas, he spends many hours playing with this and "fixing things" with the hammer and drill.

Pros
  • Easy to assemble, all the pieces were there, my son enjoys it which means I’m a happy parent.
Cons
  • Some parents may prefer a more traditional wooden workbench

Perfect size for my opinion

My granddaughter likes toys made for both genders. The tools were easy for her to use and the bench is the perfect height for her. The only thing that was disappointing was the missing foam blocks that were supposed to be included for use with the tools.

Pros
  • My grandson loves this. The drill broke about a month in so that was disappointing.
Cons
  • Parents may not be skilled enough to help their child with building

I like the size of the piece because it doesn't take .

Our daughter loves it and it seems very durable. I like the size of the piece because it doesn't take up too much space in her okay area. Extra pieces are easy to store and keep together.

Pros
  • Grandson enjoys this tremendously
Cons
  • Assembly may be difficult for some parents

Toddlers loved this for Christmas

My grandchildren 2 & 3 really enjoy this. It was easy to assemble and is quite solid. They enjoy role-playing activities they see adults doing. Have a similar one for cooking. As with some other toys there are a number of small parts which will probably end up at the bottom a toy box or lost but bigger components like saw, drill, hammer will get used frequently.

Pros
  • In the box: workbench with vise, storage bin, pegboard storage, 22-piece accessory set Including pretend tools and "wood" pieces.
Cons
  • The set may not be able to stand up to intense play

It's completely useless!

Was missing 12 pieces not including the screws to put it together. Waisted 50 bucks. It's completely useless! Certain projects may require additional materials not included in the set.

Pros
  • Grandson Loves It!!!
Cons
  • Certain projects may require additional materials not included in the set

Tools have held up good for me

My kid has loved playing with this. He may still be a little young to use the workbench that much, but he enjoys the tools. Even with the abuse he puts them through, nothing has broken.

Pros
  • Perfect and on time
Cons
  • The set may be too noisy for some parents

Parts don't work - my new review

The design is a good idea, but the drill never did work.not even once and not after changing the battery. The little holders for the tools (screwdriver, hammer, etc) are too large and won't hold the tools. More than frustrating. This was an expensive idea for parts that are already broken when they arrive.

Pros
  • 2 year old,loves it
Cons
  • Wooden pieces may crack or splinter over time

Both boys love it and it is a great size

Bought 2 of these for my grandsons at Christmas. One is almost three and the other just turned two. Both boys love it and it is a great size. Drill that comes with it is also a big hit.

Pros
  • Huge hit with my 2 year old. Kept him entertained for hours. He felt like such a big guy with his tools
Cons
  • The set may not be suitable for children with disabilities
