🔴 Red Grab Handle Inserts & Push Button Knobs Cover Trim Set for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK & Unlimited (5PCS) Review

I bought these for my 2012 Jeep in August 2020. It's March 2021 and you can clearly see that the buttons have faded to pink while the buttons have stayed red. Not only that, but the buttons are now starting to rust. I don't drive off-road and I don't do anything for it. I am very disappointed in this product. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product

Very fast delivery (3 days). Ordered silver rims for Jeep (stock). Hubby had to cut the screw closest to the knob on each of the 5 doors as they weren't drilled, apart from being an easy install a hole also had to be drilled in one of the handle inserts for a larger screw. This is what you get when you buy goods from China – well. We love the look, just hope the button studs stay put with the included tape.

No instructions, the screws provided were not strong enough to easily penetrate the hard plastic of the grips. A lot of force was required, causing these inserts to not line up with the curved recess of the handle. I ended up wasting my time cutting out handles with holes that weren't used in the process. I managed to salvage this debacle by bringing a set of sticks with plastic lids that hid the mess they had made.

They are really good and a great blue colour. The material is really good and the screw holes are cut exactly to fit the screw. Not everyone fits perfectly on the handle as some sit more to one side than perfectly left to right. No complaints from me about that though, as you didn't notice. It's easy to run your hand over so it fits snugly from top to bottom. It came with button covers but I prefer the black one. I would suggest this as a nice addition to any jeep.

Bought a pink kit for my jeep. First, the sticky bits that come with the button covers are less sticky than a lint roller. You'll have to use something else to attach them if you don't want them to fall off after a ride. But I put them on and after a week the pink turned white! I also don't park in direct sunlight. The paint is not an exterior or weatherproof paint. This is a cheap product with poor paintwork and now my jeep doesn't look like it should. I spent a lot of money to buy this…

So far so good. They seem to be very durable but let's see how they wear depending on the weather. A word of advice: after reading about people breaking screws, I attached inserts to the doorknobs and drilled pilot holes with slightly smaller than the screws. The screws went in easily and I didn't break any of them. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I had to drill one of the holes in the inserts. I think it's scrap metal from the casting process. They appear to be good value…

UPDATE FOR A YEAR: Door knob covers COMPLETELY GONE AND RUSTED! Handle inserts are lost! Given that the round button covers are "glued" with 3M glue glue, the fact that they are RUSTY and are now white (was red) is a BIG PROBLEM! I can't take them off without damaging the door! I've added photos, this is a part that gets glued to the jeep, it should last more than a year! I have ordered a number of aftermarket upgrades to improve the look of my fiancee's 2013 Jeep Wrangler 4 door 4x4.
