Works perfectly. in bathroom sets

Not much to say. Mounted on a PVC waterline that enters and passes through the garage. It rolls up and doesn't freeze. It's just 1 degree in Ohio.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Doubt

Keeps the water flowing

Living in a caravan prevents the water hose from freezing. Attach to hose with cable ties and insert into pipe insulation and secure with cable ties.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Great thing and protects pipes from freezing

Works perfectly under my house. I have a temperature below puberty or even below. Never had a frozen pipe like last year. I feel totally safe on this run and the thermostat only works in cold weather.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Requires outlet

I didn't use it for pipes, I placed it.

I didn't use this for pipes, I put it in the driveway. Every spring during the Alaskan freeze-thaw cycle, ice dams form in my driveway and eventually the garage floods - the heating cable doesn't cover the ditch.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I'm concerned about this

It went down to 0F which I never had.

It went down to 0F and I never had any problems installing it worked great and was a very well made product. I would buy again without hesitation. I covered this product with a layer of insulation and the plumbing never froze. It was a bit tricky to install due to the stiffness, but that's only because it's very well made and strong.

Pros
  • Two-year limited product warranty. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Perfect for my needs

I have used this heating tape to heat a fire hydrant in a garden that cannot be emptied in winter weather. In the photo I have two Added layers of insulation tubes of half-inch cell foam and wrapped the whole thing in a windproof blanket. This product seems well made and up for a challenge, although winter isn't here yet. Single digit rates are expected here in Michigan. If a seller or manufacturer seeing this review and thinking i am setting myself up for a mistake i hope you reply here.

Pros
  • 1/2" wide x 16.4' long
Cons
  • Update available
