Since my mom used to use wooden clothespins like this one when I was a kid, I decided to try them. They go very well with most clothes. I bought these hoping other reviewers would be wrong about hanging wet clothes from a rope. I've used these types of pins before, and they actually work better than wooden clothespins with a metal spring, or plastic clothespins (which I try to avoid to save on plastic). However, as other reviewers have noted, the garment slit is too tight for even a medium-sized t-shirt, let alone bulkier materials.
