Hypnoser Weighted Blanket Twin Size Inner Layer with Removable Quilted Duvet Cover in Dark Grey (48”x72”) Review

I received this duvet cover yesterday, opened it up and washed it without paying much attention to the size as they said a king size duvet would fit. When I tried to put it on a blanket last night it wasn't even close to the right size. The photo shows the product on my weighted blanket to show the size difference. It was very soft when it came out of the box but felt very rough after washing, the fabric didn't like it.

The goods are of high quality, soft and comfortable, there are belts to weigh down. The problem is that the weighted workpiece, even when fastened, shifts within the lid and is very difficult to rearrange. I think the only solution would be a zipper on the outside of the weighted comforter and a zipper on the inside of the comforter, connecting them continuously along the entire hem of the weighted comforter. I love the comforter itself, but my daughter (diagnosed with MCAS) reacts to this supposedly pure cotton cover even after many washes and airings. There are some suspicious fibers or chemical coatings that won't wash off. I trust her. Thank god she doesn't react to the blanket and it helped her a lot. And thank God the blanket is well sewn and does not leak. We've only washed it twice in 6 months (gentle cycle, air dry outside) and luckily it's still holding up. We wish we could use the cover…

I ordered the Hypnoser weighted blanket for my teenage daughter who has trouble sleeping. The cover definitely gives the duvet a softer and cozier feel. I was a little surprised at how a real weighted blanket is attached to the case. We ordered a 15 pound blanket. It seems like a lot of weight to attach the lid with just two zip ties on each side.
