Amazing mirror. I love this lighted magnifying mirror. 8x magnification is a good level. While edge light may be sufficient for makeup, additional light from piping is recommended. I had an electrician install it with power from a breaker near where I installed it.

I don't know what happened to it, but the bulb stopped working after a few months. I bought new lightbulbs but there is no obvious way to open the mirror to change them. I couldn't find any instructions online. I saw some advice in the answer section. One person said an electrician should take it apart. It's hard to find a lighted wall vanity mirror. I think my search will continue.

Bullshit! After spending a few hundred dollars on an electrician to wire this thing, the lights on my mirror started blinking. Flash is not the best way to try makeup on my wife. A day later the turn signals stopped working. So $125 for a lighted mirror where the light doesn't work. Also, there's no way to replace a lightbulb if it's burned out or doesn't work right out of the box. Save your money, don't buy Jerdon's junk!

Fixing/assembly could be better. In order to attach it correctly, it must be above the electrical box. And the crate must be securely fastened for the load. The upper/lower wing nuts attach to the bracket studs (supplied) and the bracket must be attached to the junction box. Unfortunately, the bracket must be attached to the side of the electrical box, while most boxes have mounting holes at the top and bottom. It would be better if the thumbscrews were on the sides.
