My couch was low enough and my knees were old enough that it was difficult to get off the couch. After placing the attachments under my sofa, it's the perfect height and easier to get up from. The black finish was perfect as it is the color of my sofa. The only thing I would recommend is to add some glue to attach the rubber square that protects the floor from scratches.

In addition to the risers, the package included felt pads that attach under each riser to minimize slipping, and markings on the carpet where the risers are located. They hold up very well with absolute misalignment or a sense of insecurity. I have used under the legs of a 12ft section/chaise lounge/ottoman set. Very happy with the purchase and will definitely buy again even if the price is a bit high because I feel safe and secure while sitting or relaxing on the partial system.
