I have never used them, they were very easy to assemble and use as long as there is no wind. They were dedicated to the anniversary celebration in memory of my stepdaughter and her boyfriend. Her mother and father could easily light them up together and send them to heaven. It was an incredible vacation. The lanterns were a hit and it was so nice to see them floating. Highly recommended.

The lights were broken, stuck together, the burner discs had no holes in the middle. When I opened them up to assemble them, they stuck together. It was in memory of my late daughter. I didn't salvage the faulty ones, they burned out and some were torn trying to pull them off. As such I have no product to return so I missed something that would be sentimental.

The day has been planned for months and lanterns are part of our tradition to honor my husband and son in honor of his father. I've used other brands that were simple and worked great but these fell apart, the fuel rod fell out completely on 3 different ones, they stuck together and snapped, the defects are almost endless. lanterns arrived on time. They are very big though, you put the wax on the wire and lower it down but it took forever to try to light and the wax dripped onto the ground when you tried to light it. So you have to be very careful not to get your hand in the way. Of the 10 lanterns only four of us took off and flew, the rest either caught fire or just fell to the ground.
