Yes, it's thick and strong and the price is great. it does exactly what it's supposed to do, it penetrates your brushes. I've used it every day since I received it and it hasn't shown any signs of rust. I tried to find it in a hobby store but they didn't understand what I was looking for.

I bought a water fountain for my high quality Silver Brush watercolor brushes. Great idea to wash and hang dry brushes but be very careful the soil is like a cheese grater that will damage the brushes if it touches the soil well inside while the brush is in the water. I trimmed the bristles off the brush so I put 3 stars. So upset with my favorite brush.

I bought this to dampen my oil brushes between daily uses without having to wash them fully. I wanted to hang the brushes with a spring so they don't hit the ground. This worked fine for my small brushes, but starting at size 10, the spring didn't fit. There is also no way to cover the container when the brushes are not being washed. I would like to see a simple case when not in use. Also, it would be great if a partial cover could be used to close off the open reservoir while the brushes soak.
