Good product - lights and lighting accessories

Good white light and beam. So far they have lasted longer than the (3 months) Sylvania bulbs from the local dealership. See the photos to see the difference between Standard and Philips. Addendum: Only lasted 11 months. The standard for all aftermarket products I think. OEM lasted 5 years. I've since switched to LEDs.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Minor problems

What I was looking for

Ok the only reason I don't give them five stars is that they aren't the brightest and most efficient headlights for night driving but they are very good headlights, they emit an amazing blue out of the Shade closest to him with halogen lamps. Very impressive photos don't do them justice. If you're looking for a hidden look without all the wiring and drilling nonsense then you won't regret your purchase, they still put out enough light to drive.

Bought 10/2018 and still working 1/2021

bought it and once it started to deteriorate I decided to just go back to the simpler halogen option but I'm really into it accustomed to blue/white HID 6000k. These lights are of course a noticeable difference. They are more white and yellow. But far from the normal yellow halogen color. In the night photo, the standard fog lights are halogen yellow and the headlights are Philips. Very noticeable difference and a much whiter color than I am very satisfied. I definitely recommend these lamps!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Better than halogen and LEDs under $150.

They look almost the same as my previous LEDs but without the fan noise. It's so annoying how low the fans get over time. My friends could hear it when they called from my car. I can't see much difference in color with the 6000k LEDs I have in my trunk right now. What's more impressive and important is the light output and beam pattern. It bothered me that I drive 50 miles day and night. There is so much light ahead and the beam pattern is nice and clear. The LED pattern was a mess and I thinkโ€ฆ

Ducati Panigale install

Installed them on my Ducati Panigale. I completely converted my Monster to LED and my Panigale has LED daytime running lights but the top and bottom are halogen. A complete LED replacement costs about $1000 and I've seen videos online of them being used. Bought for $27, took 10 minutes to install. In the first photo on the left is a new Phillips lamp and on the right is a stock lamp. The second photo shows a new Phillips bulb. The light is bright and matches the LED. I took them out at nightโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Quality

The closest you'll find to Hidden or LED color. On my 2017 Toyota Four Runner, I couldn't change the low beams to Hidden or LED bulbs due to lack of space in the projection cabinet, so I had to stick with halogen bulbs. I tried Ultimate Vision first and they were a lot whiter than the factory standard bulb and then I installed Diamond Vision and they were one shade whiter than Ultimate Vision, twice as white as the factory yellow bulbs. I would say they are fine. Color range 5000K. They areโ€ฆ

I'm really very satisfied and impressed.

Okay so I ordered these with a lot of skepticism because they would actually look like skins. I have to say I'm VERY impressed. When viewed head-on, they have that bluish tint like hides, but without the lack of reliability that comes with hides. There is also a blue tint when looking at the road from the cabin. I've noticed that many people say they don't have the light output of a standard halogen bulb, but in my experience I haven't noticed any difference in light output. I am very impressed

Great alternative to LED

Great upgrade for 2014 BMW X6 fog lights. Although I don't use fog lights, they turn on automatically when I turn or reverse. I wanted to get rid of the yellowish stock bulbs as they really stood out with the adaptive LED headlights above them. But I didn't want to mess with resistors or the ubiquitous start-up flicker when replacing ALL the LEDs (there's no getting around that, it's your machine sending a test current to make sure your bulbs don't burn out). Having said all that, I saw theโ€ฆ

Pretty cool! for lamps

love the color - definitely white with a bluish cast, that's exactly what I wanted. I hate that they aren't very powerful - my drive home is (right now) at sunset, and I can't tell the headlights are on until I get to a rural part of my driveway. Other vehicle headlights and streetlights completely negate the effect of these lights - I just don't see them on the road. and when I end up on roads that don't have streetlights, I end up using fog lights or high beams. also not thrilled that theyโ€ฆ
