Many months of searching for soft, wrinkle-free, white men's handkerchiefs! Finally! Polyester/cotton is the answer. Ideal. My husband washed them before use and is very happy with the result, soft, no wrinkles! I hope they don't disappear from view before I buy them again. PS don't believe the reviews some people write! If I had, I would have missed those tissues!

I ordered some nice handkerchiefs, washed them only to find that they needed ironing, not a little but a lot. They really are wrinkle free. Don't judge them immediately after packaging as they seem a bit flimsy. After washing, they are very soft, light and do not wrinkle. Anyone judging them on absorbency or anything else is missing the point. A handkerchief is the tool when there are no Kleenex wipes. If you rely solely on handkerchiefs, then of course you'll take more than one with you. LAUGH

Based on the reviews I thought I made the right choice but I realized this when the scarves arrived: the fabric is VERY thin - You can bring one of these in front of your face and see through it as if it were thin bandage. Threads protruded from the seams of most handkerchiefs. As a gentlemanly gesture, you would be embarrassed to give this handkerchief to anyone. I'm going to buy another set of handkerchiefs, all cotton.

They won't save you from a bad cold, they just aren't that thick (read absorbent) but that's not why a gentleman wears a handkerchief. In public, it is considered good manners to use or offer a handkerchief when the need arises and a suitable substitute is not available. And because they don't need to be ironed, you won't get a crumpled cotton pad out of your pocket. They look good, wash well and are inexpensive; everything you could wish for in a handkerchief.

My husband MUST have a tissue in his pocket or he doesn't feel attracted. However, he considers it a reusable item and occasionally wipes something other than his nose! These handkerchiefs are large, non-iron and very affordable. If one gets dirty I can throw it away!

Tissues are hard to find these days. And those made of pure cotton don't hold up well. But it's great. I've washed them so far and they've held their shape and the finishing edges haven't torn at all. They are soft and can be washed and dried. (I couldn't believe it when I saw some calling for dry cleaning or cold hand washing.) I highly recommend them.

Finally after we ordered and returned two other brands that said they were permanently printed but weren't, they don't wrinkle! FYI: As for the other two brands, the picture of the tissues on the Revain website said the constant press, but when I received the packages it wasn't mentioned anywhere. Only open the packaging if it says "crease-free" or "permanently pressed"! I have now ordered several packages. Very important!
