This dress does NOT match the picture. The dress we received had flowers and butterflies embroidered on the front. It was too much and didn't show the beautiful lace bodice as pictured. I removed about 12 to look like the picture. The skirt was also embroidered with butterflies and didn't have the beautiful cascading butterfly effect as shown in the picture. I saw this dress and it took my breath away, it was so beautiful in the picture. But even better live. This was one of 5 dresses I ordered for my daughter's first communion. Pretty good price. Like other commenters, I found several uses in the form of butterflies. For those with basic sewing skills, this is not a problem. I plan on polishing them all, just in case. Some butterfly appliques have very small spots. If you don't look carefully, you'll never see it. It says hand wash only, but I'm worried the butterflies will fall off when washing.
