BUYER WARNING! This is not the real purpose of the soap. I've been using Purpose for over 20 years. In fact, things don't smell, and that's clear. It is fake, smells like soap and is yellow in color. Also, now after 3 uses my whole face is broken! I am very angry! See photos - the bottle on the left of each photo is real. That is clear!

I'm having trouble finding an appointment in stores, I don't know if the product has been discontinued? Was so glad to find it here on Revain only to realize it wasn't a true purpose soap opera. The color, viscosity and smell of the product varies and I've been using Purpose soap for years with no problems and it gave me a rash. I should have read the reviews first otherwise it was a waste of money.

This is not the purpose of Johnson and Johnson facial soap, which has no J&J on the bottle. It is yellow and not transparent. I have been using this product for many years, it is FAKE. This is my favorite gentle facial cleanser. Couldn't find it in my local grocery store so was so happy Revain sells it in large bottles too! A few things I noticed, the color and smell were a little different. The liquid is a very light yellow color and smells slightly different than the small bottles I bought at the grocery store. The label looks about the same. Too bad the ingredients aren't the same. I posted photos. I bought the number 9451300 from a local shop (which I have used for many years). I bought the one with the number 9451501 from Amazon. If you have allergies and/or sensitive skin, be careful. It's not the same product. I had a breakthrough with the new formula and the smell also became a problem for me.

A dermatologist recommended this cleanser to me over 40 years ago and I've been using it ever since. Perfectly cleanses the skin and nourishes it very gently. It doesn't burn even if it gets in your eyes. It's gentle!
