I received my new belt and after trying it on and trimming it was perfect. This belt is by far the BEST belt I have ever owned. I wish I had known about these belts long ago, wish I had waited 68 years to be this happy with a belt.

Just received today but so far the quality is good. I personally think the silver buckle looks better on a black belt. The other buckle is black chrome plated. I can try to find a brass or gold burnt umber buckle. The strap will hold up like any regular strap, except that the holes on regular straps tend to stretch if you're between sizes. The black strap is too short and doesn't fit. Brown belt fits. Both buckles are securely fastened. Luckily I already had a black belt and found someone who wore this short belt. Maybe I missed the length in the product description. *twitched*
