Not suitable for side sleepers. This thing has a very high loft, it's not strong at all and completely bends my neck when I try to lie on it. The way the pillow compresses feels very uncomfortable and springy without supporting the neck. It might be good for back sleepers, but I don't know. The pillow comes in three cases. There is a muslim case wrapped in bare latex and on top of the muslim case is another zippered case made of some mysterious material. This second case is about 4-6 inches longer. The last pouch is another zippered pouch made of thick satin. This case is simply thrown into the box separately.
