I had to store a mattress in the garage for three weeks. Bought this bag for protection. Place the mattress on pallets, not on the floor. Light rain fell on the canopy. The bag got wet. The mattress is damaged. I had to buy a new one and pay for the broken one to be removed. Don't waste your money if you want to be waterproof. The bag is sturdy, with handles, but not waterproof.

I bought this mattress topper because we move a lot and I need an easy way to protect our mattress when we move. Our mattresses used to be wrapped in polyethylene. This is not only much easier, but also more environmentally friendly and cost-effective for us. The zipper seems to slide easily and I think it will hold up to a few swipes. 5 stars from me so far!
