Terribly warped and generally weak

Terrible product. Even if it hadn't been delivered fully deformed, it would have deformed even after one use because the edge is so brittle. And the base is also thin. It will never be able to pick up anything heavy like construction debris or even yard waste.

It's HUGE: Parts & Accessories

Okay I have to admit I missed the part where it's a 22 inch blade and was quite shocked that you got a plane on this thing could land. It's well designed, very light for its size and I suspect it will last quite a while. I gave it one star because it's almost too big for one of my purposes. All in all a good product and I am satisfied.

FRUSTRATED for household needs

I bought this dustpan for cleaning the garden. It worked well, but because it was plastic and so big, the rim warped and wasn't straight anymore, making it difficult to sweep everything into the pot. I have to put my foot on it to keep the grass and leaves from getting underneath. It's annoying and I wouldn't have bought it if I knew the edge was so uneven.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Okay for the most part, but...

When it comes to shovels, size matters!

The broom I bought is about 2 inches wider than the flimsy consumer dustpans I had at home. This commercial scoop is really huge if your mom's scoop is any measure. This is far more effective than the old-fashioned swish-and-cut method you have to use at home with a dustpan. Using this shovel is much faster. An entire oversized broom can pass through the maw of this behemoth, so the process only requires placement of the dustpan.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Speed

Make another choice

I really like the size. It contains many swept items. BUT as another reviewer pointed out, I had the same experience with it tipping towards the end. So if you have good material to lift, it will end up under the pan. I use mine to pick up cut grass on a roadside and also sand etc on my garage floor. Due to the thin curved edge, I have to make multiple passes to get the most out of the thin material. The end needs to be thicker and stronger to work well. I suggest making another choice.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • I don't dislike much, it's ok

Great if you want to sweep rubbish under the tray

Huge bin (22") Of course it has its uses when actually standing on the floor. But the plastic is thin, so it's wavy and doesn't lie on the floor, so dirt or dust can't get in (see picture). For this reason I sent it back, but even though it came out flat and it e.g. For example, if something was not lying flat in a tool tray or box, or something was lying on it, the product would be deformed and would not sit flat. It's not commercial. For €10 it's junk. The only reason I really wanted to try…

suitable for residential patio, garage, shop, etc. suitable for business

Scoop internal dimensions 21 1/2 in. front; 14 1/2" back; 10" front to back; 5" bottom to top on back (note how the sides slope in the drawing). The straight section of the handle is 5 1/2" long before it connects to the back. I have big hands and the handle is big enough to make it easier for me to work --- I think small hands will have no problem either. There is a "MADE IN USA" label at the top of the bottom and a triangle at the bottom with a "7" recycling symbol and "OTHER" (for plastic…

Big and works well after a little modification

The leading edge touching the ground wasn't straight and flat at all when I got the shovel. As a result, a lot of dirt and small debris fell under the shovel, and not into it. But heating the edge with a heat gun and pressing it against a flat surface caused it to become flat. The leading edge now sits firmly on the ground when debris is swept in and the Element works great. The shovel is probably too big for domestic use. But it works great in a garage or home business. If you have a hair…
