Sherry Kline Empire Dots Towel Set with Nugget Gold Embellishments - 3 Piece Review

We washed the towels before first use which is normal. We washed them in separate bags on a gentle cycle. When we opened the bags after washing, it turned out that the towels had self-destructed. We've never seen that before. The towels are not good.

We have a very old fashioned/elegant log home. It's hard to find beautiful decorative towels with trimmings and I was so happy to find them. It was the perfect color I was looking for and the quality was exquisite. The towels are a beautiful golden colour, no lighter with a burgundy stripe speckled with black and gold. The finish is slightly larger than bronze gold with black threads.

The towel set is actually quite thick, heavy and beautiful. I originally bought this because I use burgundy and gold in our master bath. However, these towels do not quite match the photo as the color "burgundy" is more of a rusty red. That's why I give this set 4 stars. It's ok because I've added rust, spice, orange and bronze to my guest bathroom and now I've hung this set in there.
