Mandatory employee feedback.

Update (01/01/21): Shoes are still holding up well, no rips or tears. The outsole starts to break down after a few months of heavy use. I kind of expected that since I work 40-50 hours a week on a hard floor. Update: After a month they are still holding up well, no tears. The front part near both thumbs sinks in a little, like a big crease. There are still five months left. I've been wearing them for about 4 hours now. As long as comfortable shoes; Fits as expected. They are not too loose and…

These shoes are short lived

I bought a pair of Skechers shoes for the first time. This will be the last. These shoes are very light and look good, but after about 2 weeks the cushion on the balls of the feet shrinks enough that it feels like I'm walking barefoot on concrete. My feet are now so awkward walking in these shoes. I went back to my 2.5 year old New Balance shoes which were almost completely worn out and feel better on my feet when walking than these new Skechers.

  • Nice to wear

Severe pain in back and knees.

I work in a job that involves a lot of standing and walking and was told it would be a godsend. When you try them on, they are. After a complete leg swap, my back is killing me and my knees hurt more than they have in years. As a test, I switched back to my normal brand. The pain is gone. You can draw your own conclusions, but since I donated them to goodwill and bought a new pair of my usual brand and style, my back and knees have stopped hurting.

The best hiking shoes I've ever had.

Just ran 3.67 miles in them the day after I received them. I've had great results with Skechers in the past, but tended to rest my second toe on the end of the toe box on long walks in moccasins. No problem with them - comfort, fit, ventilation and lightness are all excellent, and the laces help to better define the position of the foot and prevent toe strikes. Without a doubt, these are the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever had. FWIW, I wear 9-1/2 in most shoes but 10 in Skechers.

Nothing for me and my aching fingers.

I bought this shoe because of another Sketcher GO Walk shoe that I found very comfortable. This shoe was comfortable when I first tried it on, but as I walked around in this shoe I became more and more dissatisfied. The problem I have is that when walking, due to the soul design of this shoe, I felt my toes moving forward in the shoe and my toes clenching in the toe box. They feel very soft when just standing in one spot, but when walking, the forefoot issue eliminates any sense of comfort. I…

Pretty good shoe but needs better support.

Bought to replace a similar pair that has worn out. I had a trip to Disney and needed a comfortable pair of shoes. I almost gave up after the first two weeks. My legs ached as I stood and the arches of the vault were dying. I bought several Dr. Scholls to make them better, but they didn't fit on day two at Disney either. After removing them, he reverted to regular shoes. It worked great for the rest of the trip and my legs were fine. I think the light mesh upper doesn't provide proper foot…

Pros
  • Many fit
Cons
  • Some difficulty

The bottom of the shoe is falling apart

I would give 5 stars for the comfort when wearing them indoors to work. I think I misunderstood the name "Go Walk" because after just 10 days of walking on a local paved path, the sole of the shoe fell apart. It's a shame because I thought I finally found a good "hiking shoe". I wanted to return them because based on all the positive reviews I thought I just got a bad pair but they weren't that expensive so I'll wear them until they fall apart and not order another pair.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Only available in black
