really wanted this. They look great for my 5 year old but they are terrible. Velcro straps don't stretch at all, so they barely reach to be attached to the other side. When my child runs and the velcro comes off (it always happens), snow gets inside. I've never experienced this in winter boots, but my poor kid's feet always got wet. Boots fit very well but we are disappointed. They are cute and not bulky like most kids boots I like. However, they are not suitable for playing in the snow. Walking in the snow if that's ok and keeping my daughter's feet dry but had to buy other boots to play with because her feet were wet and the boots were filled with snow every time she played in the snow. We live in Northern Michigan and I bought these for my daughter who is 3 years old (she will be 4 soon). They look adorable and will keep you warm when there is some snow on the ground. But they don't work for serious snow! A few days after she returned to nursery after our first big snow (about 6 inches) I had to quickly order another pair of boots.
