5 stars for comfort and style minus 3 stars for manufacturing defects. The stitching on the right shoe is off center and looks weird. I got them for an event so I had to put them on right away. I didn't think it would make a huge difference, but time has shown the opposite. The stitching causes my right big toe to crunch inwards, which causes an arch cramp after a short period of use. I don't think that's the standard that Sperry lives up to and I thought this shoe just slipped out from under…

These shoes fell apart immediately. You cannot wear them on concrete, asphalt, or any surface other than carpet, or while driving, as the rubber nubs on the bottom wear out with every step. Both my left and right shoes quickly punctured the balls of my feet and heels.

I love Sperry but it was a terrible experience. First, it's too tight and too long. But the most uncomfortable are the rubber knobs on the underside. They stagger when they walk because they are moving. I love Sperry and swear by them, but despite the fact that they're beautiful to look at, these are the worst shoes I've ever put on. After wearing them for half a day, I soothe sore feet and ankles. Don't buy this!

I have treated the shoes with a special leather conditioner and I expect them to fit. They are beautiful and looking forward to Friday, they will go on their first outing. I think they will be 5 stars on Saturday.
