The inside of the hat is made of soft fleece, the outer layer is made of very soft sherpa-like fabric. My little 6 year old wanted a dog hat for Christmas and this was the only one I could find. I decided to play them, she didn't take them off in 2 days. In the photo you can see how I measured her head, it is 22 inches in circumference and this hat was only available in toddler sizes. The beanie is also fairly warm but not very thick so it may not be as effective in windy conditions.

Bought 2-4 years old because my daughter is very small almost 3.5. Her head size was always 10% of a tile or under. This hat is too tight for her. The gloves are also almost too small. I will continue to post "buy nothing" on the site just for other people. She liked the style.

Super charming and warm hat, but the gloves are thin. Would have given 5 stars if the gloves were lined and warm. But we love the hat.

I bought them for our granddaughters aged 5 and 3. They really liked her! I wish I had a photo of them because they were too cute with them! The gloves were big for a 5 year old (didn't see them on a 3 year old) but she's tiny and still loves them! Great and cute for kids!

Bought the hat for my 2 year old and it fits well and has room to grow. Very soft and warm. The mittens are a bit thin but I expected that from this style. Very happy with my purchase.

They are huge. My daughter is small for her age (4 year old but fits 3 year old). They should be right in the middle of the size range for her, but they're downright huge for her. The gloves fall off and the hat covers the eyes. They are excellent quality - soft and warm - but definitely run large. They're good enough that I'm keeping them for next year instead of returning them!

It fits my niece's head perfectly. Toddler size 3. And she was thrilled to see the bright colors. Michigan is very warm for a fall/winter day. It also covers the ears for warmth. The gloves also fit very well.

When this product arrived at my house it was wrapped in plastic and placed in a box. So imagine my surprise when I took it out of the sealed plastic bag to find it was wet and the label had come off leaving the gloves dirty. I don't know how he got wet. Luckily when I washed and dried them the dirt was gone and they were nice and fluffy.

The gloves are fine, but the horn on the unicorn broke immediately. Lasted only 1 week after the first wash, then the unicorn horn broke at the bottom. It's not worth it.

I thought a toddler size would be ok for my 3 year old but forgot her head is a bit bigger than most. I will exchange for a larger size, I hope not too big. Very cute and soft hat.0⁰

The perfect size was tall for my daughter but be sure to order it. Excellent material, even after washing, will definitely last a long time if handled properly.

I ordered this discounted Black Friday set ($11.99) in size 2-4t for my 2 1/2 granddaughter. Nice hat but too tight on the head. They only offer returns, no replacements at this price. Too bad to lose a sale and bad review for a few bucks.

Either this hat runs small or you sent a smaller size. (We ordered 4-7 and it looks more like 2-4). The gloves were the right size. The unicorn-obsessed kid was okay with the style.

The hat and gloves fit our 4 year old well and the inside of the hat is soft and scratch free so she doesn't really take it off. Beautiful colors, fun baby hat!

My daughter loved this hat and glove set and put them on as soon as they arrived. They fit as expected, are of good quality and keep you warm.

So the hat itself and the mittens are adorable. My daughter is six years old with an average head size and head circumference and this hat was too small. It is very sweet! But definitely intended for the little ones aged 1-3 years (the eldest). The quality is good it's very cute but I came back to let other parents know this is NOT for 5, 6, 7, 8+ year olds AT ALL.

There were places where the "fur" was thin or had already started to come out. I doubt it will last longer than this season but it's awfully cute and fits well on my 3 year old's head.
