Looks great but is hardly a "soft blanket". It's heavy and heavily textured, more like a comforter than a blanket. It has a clear 'inside out' and heavy duty visible stitching 'inside out' like a bedspread. It's good. Just not quite as described.

I just received this as a throw to protect my new leather piece from my furry daughter and don't want what looks like a cheap duvet. Does exactly what I need, looks great and was almost half the price of the other store that sold it.

I read a review saying it's pet safe but not rough. It seemed impossible, and it was. That's a nubby. It's rough on the skin. Warmth combined with another cotton blanket for San Diego in November. The cat does not cling to him. She is in her bed.

I love this duvet. It really met my needs for a lightweight, breathable, thick cotton blanket for the warmer months. It's NOT plush and not very soft, but that's not a problem because I use a sheet with it. I don't like plush blankets because I've found that they shed a lot of dusty fibrous material. As for the really soft ones, they can't stand my dog, who loves to sleep (or should I say nest) on the bed with me. I also don't find the blanket scratchy with parts of it making direct contact…
