I This is a great jacket that is warm yet breathable! Very spacious, does not press on the shoulders. I was in northern Arizona in sub-zero temperatures and the flannel and t-shirt kept me warm and dry. I'm 6'0", 223 lbs, athletic build and it fits me perfectly. If you need more room for layers like a sweatshirt or hoodie, go up a size.

This jacket wasn't advertised as having an 'athletic fit' but it obviously is. My typical XL size, which has enough room for a sweatshirt, is so tight that I doubt I can wear anything other than a t-shirt or polo underneath. The rest of the jacket seemed decent.
