Pretty and Functional!

I have a very serious night blooming cactus - I swear this thing shoots spines into you if you look at it funny - that needed to be untangled and trained to climb something. It has destroyed three pairs of regular gardening gloves, so I finally looked for "cactus gloves" and bought these without a whole lot of hope. Not only did I get the cactus sorted out without a single splinter, the gloves are still in perfect condition. And they're cute! What more could you ask for?

Pros
  • Buying for Christmas gifts! Love mine!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with latex allergies

High quality. in my review

Attractive, well made, effective protection and much liked by those to whine they were gifted- including myself. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • Love the length, design & durability of gloves. Makes me WANT to do yardwork. 🙄
Cons
  • Limited color options

Not a good buy, made with PU/fake leather

The product description says these gloves are leather with a polyester sleeve. These gloves are not real leather they are PU fake leather. This product costs way too much being made with fake leather. Not a good buy.

Pros
  • Works well for trimming our rose bushes.
Cons
  • Can make hands sweaty during use

They are as described in the ad.

Absolutely love these gloves. I do a lot of gardening and pruning and they work wonderfully. I am extremely happy with them!

Pros
  • They're good, but they ran a little tight. Hopefully they will loosen with use.
Cons
  • Thorns still penetrate fingers.

Comfortable and fit great too

I tend the gardens for our local food bank and needed something to protect my arms and hands and were comfortable for long periods of wear. These fit the bill. The gauntlet (arm piece) goes all the way to my elbow which is a huge plus when tackling the prickly pumpkin and squash plants.

Pros
  • ‎2
Cons
  • Can cause extra wear and tear on gardening tools

Not thorn proof on my review.

Bought these specifically for pruning my bougainvillea and they offer zero protection. Thorns poke right through. Boo.

Pros
  • I wear it on all my gardening work. Very comfortable and durable.
Cons
  • May need to be broken in before optimal use

great gardening gloves

These are great because they go up the arm and protect from bugs and spiders around the area you may be working. That's my review.

Pros
  • They protect your hands and arms. But, are a little warm for South Texas in the summertime.
Cons
  • Rose bushes made quick work of the gloves. The gloves did very little to keep thorns from my hands.

Great gloves for my opinion

I was looking for something that would cover up to my elbows as I am allergic to some plants (poison ivy), and even some in the garden. By covering my forearms, I am able to harvest without getting a rash. Love these gloves! Very lightweight and very easy to utilize tools with them.

Pros
  • Love the gloves they protect my arms, now a feel no more scratches!!!!
Cons
  • Can be hard to grip smaller pruning tools with gloves on

Best gardening gloves I've had

I have gone through many gardening gloves over the years, these are the most durable I have had that is also comfortable to wear. Want to buy several more pair in case they quit making them.

Pros
  • ‎3.88 ounces
Cons
  • May not provide enough grip in wet conditions

Nice leather gloves for yardwork

My wife is very sensitive to the shrubs when she gardens and develops a rash on her arms every time. These gloves work perfectly for her. They are solid construction and the hand part is nice comfortable leather. Fits as expected.

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • Can be uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time

Didnt last a season

Not really useful for roses or blackberries, as the "leather" rubbed away after the first month. Now i keep them to provide distance between me and spiders when im stacking logs. Still need to find durable gloves for clearing blackberry bushes.

Pros
  • Gloves
Cons
  • Can limit dexterity for certain gardening tasks

Cute gardening gloves but you’ll still get poked sometimes

I bought these on a whim after I destroyed my hands on my rose bushes. They definitely helped with the small thorns but I still got poked a few times with big ones. I have only used them once. Super cute though!

Pros
  • Cleaning out the rose bushes they are a life saver.
Cons
  • Gloves are pretty but you still get stuck by thorns

Definitely Not Thorn/Pricker Proof!

I can’t say that these gloves are uncomfortable. Can I use them in my gardens? Yes. The problem is, I bought them because they were supposed to protect my hands from rose thorns and pricker weeds. The very first pricker I went to pull went right through the glove to my skin. It’s just disappointing.

Pros
  • Very pretty and seem pretty durable.
Cons
  • Can cause hands to get too cold in cooler climates

Truly Five Star! for my opinion

Excellent product! The leather glove part fits well and protects me from scratches and cuts. I am older and my skin is thinner so these gloves are a god send. The length of the glove is the best that I have ever found. I loved these gloves so much that I ordered another pair so I would never be without.

Pros
  • ‎16.5 x 6.3 x 0.75 inches
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those looking for vegan gardening options

False Advertising. Not leather. Not protective.

These gloves are not as advertised. They are not leather. They are not adequate for rose gardening, they’re not puncture resistant or thorn proof. They will not protect you from any type of thorns They’re made with thin PU pleather in the hands, this is easily penetrated by thorns and likely will not hold up well with garden labor. They’re ok for a photoshoot costume for a Cottagecore account but not much else.

Pros
  • Gave these to my grandmother as a gift and she liked them so much she asked for a second pair!
Cons
  • Can be difficult to clean

Very nice. for my opinion

I love these .they are large or an extra large. But it works well when you are prunng roses. I typically wear a medium glove. These are bigger but I want them big. Flexible so you can get in those hard to reach places. I used them for a whole season and they are still like new.

Pros
  • I ware them for yard work to keep the poison ivy at bay.
Cons
  • May not be durable long-term

Not good for thorns

These had mesh fabric on back of thumb and part of the hand. Not good when trying to prune thorny plants. Returned for this reason.

Pros
  • But decent enough gardening gloves.
Cons
  • These are advised as leather and thorn proof they are neither

Revainrating 3 out of 5

hands of glove not as flexible as I would like

this is a "cute" garden glove, the length of the glove is what I was looking for, the gloves are not as flexible as I need May not be suited for those with sensitive skin.

Pros
  • It was purchased for someone.I was told that they liked it
Cons
  • May not be suited for those with sensitive skin

Just Too Pretty but Work Hard!

I did not want to use these in wet soil because they are too pretty to get dirty.lolol. However, they work very well for pruning my roses and vegetable plants.

Pros
  • Great for rose bushes.
Cons
  • Can limit tactile sense for handling delicate plants

Adorable but man hands beware

So cute and sturdy. The floral sleeves look even better in person. They're on the smaller side, so if you have large hands, I'd steer clear.

Pros
  • ‎Ruibo
Cons
  • May not be machine washable
