These fit on the small side, but I expected that from the reviews & ordered a bigger size. They have worked great for my 4-yr old in her dance class. The strings are not sewn in anywhere & are pretty short, so they are a little hard to tie & one of them came out.and would be almost impossible to thread back through, so we didn't even bother & just pulled the other one out too.
