Excellent replacement vent for our dryer. By far it’s an upgrade and they give you plenty of length to work with. The only downfall is the difficulty of connecting between sizes of the dryer outlet and the connection to the outdoor exhaust. It’s definitely some manual labor involved with some adjusting of the existing connections. Prepare by getting some heat tape wrap in advance, because you’ll need it in addition to the gaskets. I love how these look in my laundry room, and they really do have great adhesive properties. Unfortunately, they stick so well that if you try to adjust them, they will pull off your paint AND drywall. I own my home, so it's not the biggest issue (though still annoying), but if you are renting, BE AWARE. I must admit I figured these would provide okay cut resistance for my art projects, namely wood & linoleum carving ( with a 9 rating), which they do, but I didn’t expect the smart screen compatibility to work. It's tough to tell if it was packaged that way from the factory or if it was brutally handled during delivery.
