As I said. It does turn off after 24 hours, but, the app allows you to set a schedule. I have mine scheduled to turn off at 3:45 pm and turn on at 4:00 on Auto. This product lasted a little over 3 years before failing. It did not fall but rather just stopped showing anything but a few sections of black, even with new batteries. After a while, it didn't even show that.The timer function is very nice for encouraging kids to finish bathtub/shower play within a reasonable time. The humidity sensor was very handy as well. I don't generally spare the time to write reviews but this thing was fantastic especially for the price. I wear a size 10/12 Medium/Large in street clothes, very athletic with some padding. However my boobs are only a medium/large B and are saggy from being a mom, and they are pretty far apart so I rarely can find something that gives me great cleavage. It is good for what it is, but much smaller than my last dish rack. It is good for storing dishes for say a 1-2 person meal (or 6 person if all you use are plates).
