With the appropriate gasket in place, the sink will drain only to the point where water is above the new flange. I haven’t worn these through deep puddles but in light rain, they do just fine. They are a warm (though not meant for winter!) and true to size. 95% of the time I wear a size 8 1/2, that’s what I ordered and it fits just fine. Brown is a great color! It doesn’t have the contrast that some of the other styles do but it really looks like a nice riding or paddock boot.I think my only complaint is after a few weeks of wearing them, the soles on the inside are starting to slip.
