This is a flattering, light-weight and easy to wear dress. I am 5'4" tall and wear a size 14. I usually choose tops in size L or XL if I am ordering online and they seem form fitting. In dresses, I am always unsure, but I seem to have the best luck with XL. In the absence of a size chart wasn't sure about an XL either, and I am a bit of an apple shape, so I decided to go with an XXL. This turned out to be the right choice for me. Just wanted to give another reference for size. I am 5'8, 180 pounds, small bust, and I ordered a medium. It is large on me, and I could probably easily have fit in a small, but the sleeves would almost definitely have been too short. The top is pretty long on me, despite having a longer torso and being pretty tall, so if you are shorter definitely size down or you'll swim in it and it'll be down to your knees.
