I can’t decide if I really like this or not. It looks as expected. You will most likely want to wear a slip as it is a little shear. The material is not quite silky, but really thin and a little bit more rough than silky. I’m not sure if I like the material as it is really thin. Some mattress covers that are waterproof make me sweat when I sleep. This OctoRose pad is pleasant to sleep on. It doesn’t make noise when you move around the bed as the material isn’t like the old fashioned vinyl material. With dogs that sleep in our bed this cover is a great investment to protect our mattress. The only negative to it is the sheer hosiery material that is used around the corners.
