I used this on my husky/shepherd mix who is constantly shedding and leaving pieces of her all over the house. Upon application, this seems like a regular shampoo but as it dries, it works to shed the undercoat. I paired this with a deshedding conditioner and I have never seen her shed so much! Luckily, this was temporary because once she shed the undercoat (which the shampoo and conditioner loosened) she was shedding very little. This is the first time that I leave a negative comment on items I bought, and I'm sorry, but a girl should definitely avoid this, unless you have a full pack of tools and Hulk's arms. Apparently, I had none. Struggled hours trying to tighten the screws and hurt my fingers, only to find the length of the screws NOT suitable at all. Too short at the bottom and too long at top. My dog is slim, with a large chest, and she's kind of long. All the other raincoats were too short on her back, and if it was long enough for her back, it was WAY too big through the chest and belly. The dimensions of the 2" receiver part that goes into your hitch is about a 1/16th of an inch too small. This causes excessive side-to-side and up-and-down movement. These little snow boots are a nice addition to my heavy snow boots. They fit perfectly. I usually wear a 5.5 or 6. I ordered the 6. But I think 5.5 would have worked just as well. It doesn't exactly fit my door. Everytime I need to close the door I have to adjust it and close slowly. Pain in the ass. It should cost no more than $10 or be manufactured in such a way that we can adjust it once and forever for doors of different thickness, instead of having to adjust everytime we need to close the door.
