OK, you need these, ladies! Forget half slips and short bloomers. This little item is soft, comfortable, and would be fine to see should it peep out from under a dress. As others noted, it is not shapewear. I was really looking forward to wearing this on Christmas Eve for a party but the left pocket was sewn completely shut (and I don't mean a few stitches that could easily be pulled apart). I tried pulling the threads to see if I could open the pocket but I'm concerned it will leave a big hole.
